Using parameter panelsThe parameter panels on the Parameters tab of the main window are organized by parameter section. On the Parameters tab of the main window, click on a section in the sections list to see the parameters in that section. There are several types of parameter panels, which are listed below, to change parameters of various types. All parameter panels have these features in common:The value in any parameter panel is the value for the focused plant. If you change the value, you are changing that parameter's value in all selected plants. If no plant is selected, all the parameter panels will be grayed out. To open or close any parameter panel, click the arrow to the left of the parameter name. If the parameter panel is a header panel, which labels the following group of parameters, you will open or close the whole group. You can navigate among the parameter panels using the Tab and Shift-Tab keys as well as the mouse. Each item on a parameter panel that can be changed can be tabbed to. You can right-click on any parameter panel to access a popup menu. Choose Parameter Panel Help from the popup menu to jump into the help system at the right place to get help on using that type of parameter panel. You can also use the popup menu (right-click) to expand or collapse parameter panels. Using the right-click popup menu on the sections list, you can expand or collapse whole sections or get help on each parameter section. The hint for each parameter panel describes the parameter in the panel. (See Turning button and parameter hints on and off for how to change whether these appear, and see Changing hint timing for changing how long they stay around.)
