Changing editor preferences

You can change several preferences for the StoryHarp world editor by choosing Edit | Editor Preferences. The items in the preferences window are as follows.

gif/storyharp00090000.gif Table, map, browser font: Click the Change button next to each font to set the font type and size for each of the display areas in the world editor. Any font style you choose (like bold or italic) will be ignored.

gif/storyharp00090000.gif Background color for selected items: This is the color to highlight selected items in the table, map and browser. Click Change to choose a new color.

gif/storyharp00090000.gif Text color for selected items: This is the color to draw text for selected items in the table, map and browser. Click Change to choose a new color.

gif/storyharp00090000.gif Text color for commands in map: This is the color to use for the text of commands in the map. It should be different from the general text color and should show up against the background color. Click Change to choose a new color.

gif/storyharp00090000.gif Show map commands with prefix: To make the map commands stand out, you can show them with a prefix, such as
>go east.

gif/storyharp00090000.gif Use symbols instead of pictures on buttons: You can use the standard picture buttons for the rule fields, or you can choose an alternate set of buttons with abstract symbols.

These settings will be saved in your settings (ini) file.
