Zooming/scrolling/rotating in the 3D object editor
To zoom in an out,
Click Magnify mode in the toolbar, then click in any of the three panels. Shift-click or right-click to zoom out. The spot where you clicked will become the center of the enlarged or reduced area for that panel. -or- Click Scale to Fit. The magnification in each panel will change so that the 3D object fits within the panel. You can't click and drag to magnify in the 3D object editor like you can in the main window. To scroll, Click Scroll mode in the toolbar, then click and drag in any of the three panels. To rotate, Click Rotate mode in the toolbar, then click and drag in either of the two viewing panels. You cannot rotate in the editing panel. Drag to the left or right to rotate in the X direction. Drag up or down to rotate in the Y direction. Click with the right mouse button and drag to the left or right to rotate in the Z direction. -or- Click Reset rotations. This will reset the rotations in both viewing panels to zero. |
