Changing drawing preferences
To change drawing preferences,
Choose Preferences from the main window Edit menu. Click the Drawing tab. Make your changes to the items below, then click OK. Drawing preferences that affect the main window Use plant bitmaps, Upper limit on memory devoted to plant bitmaps: See Using plant bitmaps. Click Change Custom Drawing Options to bring up the custom drawing options window. Drawing preferences that affect the whole program Background color behind plants: See Changing the background color. Transparent color for overlaying plants if using plant bitmaps: This is the color used to make the plant bitmaps transparent so PlantStudio can overlay them on the screen. It should be a color you NEVER use in your plants. White and black are good choices. Show drawing progress: This determines whether the program takes the time to fill in those little progress bars on the main window, breeder, and time series window while it is drawing plants. This makes drawing go a little slower, but it gives you feedback. |
