Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: absolute

Internal equations in this simulation work in units of mass relative to unit area, as in kilograms per square meter of soil area. This allows the equations to scale easily to small or large soil patches. However, you might want to see exactly how many kilograms of some amount are in your soil patch, not how many kilograms per square meter. Therefore some aspects show absolute amounts -- kilograms -- which are derived by dividing the relative amounts by the area of the soil patch. If an aspect says absolute, it means that the amount shown is not relative to area or any other amount.
