Copying picturesNormally you will use PlantStudio primarily to provide input for other graphics programs. PlantStudio exports raster-based bitmaps to the clipboard at a color depth, resolution and size you choose. To copy a picture to another program without changing any options,Choose a drawing speed and quality for your output: choose Draw as Bounding Boxes, Draw as Wire Frames, Draw as Solids, or Draw Custom from the Options menu. Choose Copy Picture from the Edit menu. Click OK. Switch to your Windows-based graphics program and choose Paste from its Edit menu (or however you paste in the program). When you copy, save or print a picture, you will set options in the same picture export options window. In the case of printing there will be extra options, but the top half of the window will always be the same. Tasks: Choosing picture contents Choosing picture color depth Choosing picture resolution Choosing picture size What to do if you get no picture |
