Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: Plant next day functions: if optimal water uptake chosen, change water use to optimal

If the "optimal water uptake" option is turned on for plant growth, plants act as if they took up the amount of water they would have taken up if they were the only plant in the soil patch. Note that this is not really an optimal amount of water uptake. Of course that doesn't really matter very much because the plant also sets the water stress growth constraint to 1.0 (best) if this option is turned on. The important thing is that the plant doesn't tell the soil patch that it is going to act as if it had taken up all the water it demanded, because the soil patch would subtract the water and dry out. That is why this is done after the soil patch has distributed all the water.
